"Green Machine"

I saw this tractor for sale, parked near the road, on our way back from Inks Lake last time. I didn't have enough time to set up and paint it on the spot so I took a photo.
I have been a painting fool lately, trying out all sorts of things - so much I've got extra paintings. I've posted a few in my Ebay store for a fixed price: http://stores.ebay.com/carolmarine?refid=store.
I'm off to Florida tomorrow for a workshop.

Very exciting Carol!
Are you using the same color palette for your landscapes?

Carol - you have come to life in a wonderful new way - I luvvvvvv each and every one. It's like a breath of fresh air - KEEP BREATHING. what an inspiration you are to us all out there in the world of the empty canvas.

This is a happy piece. And now you see that you can paint from your own photos. This will continue to add to your repertoire.

Carol.
I'm loving these little landscapes! They have the same confident brush work as your still life paintings.

Nice Carol. You've achieved a plein air look even though done in the studio.

Love this, Carol! So fresh and painterly. It is great fun to see you doing landscapes. Maybe we can do one or two in our upcoming class? :) I am so looking forward to it.

You go girl! This is a knockout. I wasn't surprised when you said you painted it from a photo, though. Photos make your shadows really dark. You might want to try tweaking the shadows with your editor of just throwing some color in there. Of course, I am a much better critic than painter!

I LOVE this painting. I used to live in San Antonio and have been to Inks Lake. The light is perfect. I know that light. Early Spring in Texas - glowing.
