"No Room, No Room" - SOLD

I'm back to painting after a full week without. Ahhh, it's good to be back. Generally I'm a bit rusty after a break like this, so I decided to start with apples. I found a bag of perfect, small, green apples, which I haven't painted in a while.
FYI: I'm doing a demo tomorrow at the Wimberley Art League after the meeting there, which starts at 7pm.

Hey Carol! I don't have anything insightful or extraordinary to say but I LOVE seeing your work-- you really are so talented-- of course we knew that way back when!! :)

Wonderful! Although I do feel a little sorry for the apple left out of the bowl! Still, that just goes to show how your paintings and titles conjure up an entire scene and story :o)

Love your painting and the title is perfect! The reflections in the bowl are wonderful, as well as the colors in the shadow.

Welcome back as we all missed you! I love the composition in this painting. Usually the 50/50 split doesn't work ... but of course it looks great in your painting! Those apples are so vibrant!!!

Great piece Carol, love the shadow, the bowl reflections, and especially the connection of the three apples in the bowl. That lost edge connecting the two on the right is perfect!

Very fresh brush strokes. Sometimes a little break is not so bad.

Great greens! That turquoise shadow next to the beautiful yellow greens really makes this a stand out! The reflection in the bowl where all the different colors come together is another real sweet part for me.

So glad you are back in the groove!

You haven't missed a beat.
Like Leslie said, the 50/50 split works beautifully!

Love the looseness of your style and your palette!

Clean cup, clean cup! Move down, move down!"

or am I the only one thinking that your title sounds just like a mad tea party??

Love the shine on those apples, the whole painting is just fabulous :)

You know I've never, ever painted a still life? But you're kind of inspiring me to give it a try.
