"A Royal Snack" - SOLD

I call this "A Royal Snack" because ... well because with the pitcher and the draped cloth and all the colors it just seems ... fit for royalty. And maybe I was influenced by the movie I just watched with Egyptian royalty in it. I don't know. I love this green pitcher. I've had it for a while and have been trying to fit it in somewhere - and now I've used it twice in one week!

What is there to say, except that it is another fantastic painting! The colors are wonderful. And I really like the composition. Another home run!!

Gee whilikers; it sure gets complicated around that handle. Tricky stuff there. NICE variation in the apple STEMS, too.

Love this arrangement and the way you have it grouped in the upper corner. Beautiful drape! I've noticed you've been doing backdrops with layers. Really lovely. I like that pitcher too...keep it coming!

I just love these colors! And your composition, brushstrokes - very nice. Your picture has such a nice shape - perfect with the apples.

I love this - it's beautiful - - are you using the same size brush you normally use?

Carol, love this one--and I never get tired of the apples--they're always beautiful when you paint them! I know you'll be a bit busy to deal with this and it's no doubt a duplication, but I've nominated you for the "Sunshine Award" on my blog--for creativity and positivity in blogging--seemed fitting as you're the champion of daily art blogging. Thanks for the inspiration.
