I know some of you get tired of seeing them, but I LOVE painting apples. They are so colorful and shiny and ... just wonderful subjects. I said recently I'd rediscovered color, and here I am proving it. Color and lots of it! I'm really happy with this one.

Not tired at all, these are beautiful.
it's a great way to study colour, but aren't there any other subjects? Anyone suggestions?
Tire your apples....no way ...this is great with the colorful graphic patterns of the paper under the apples. You should do a series of pears like you are doing here of your apples...they would be gorgeous too.
Love how the shadows change as it falls on the different colors. Great job!
very nice composition
Carol-does your canvas panel holder work with your new art box easel? I'm getting ready to purchase the panel holder and just wanted to make sure.
Delicious color and design~!
I am enjoying your book very much. =)
I like these candy/ Lili Pulitzer colors. Feeling good!
I really like this one Carol. Three apples on three different colors works very well in this painting. Great composition.
Great design again Carol!
Carol, Beautiful colors! I love this painting! Looking forward to seeing seeing more!
don't stop painting apples- you do it so beautifully!I also love the little square corners that contrast with the round shapes...Mary
an apple a day keeps the doctor away. :D
they are classic. I don't get tired of seeing them.
I never get tired of apples! This has great design.
Your apples are beautiful - as all your paintings. I don't think I would ever get tired of seeing them. Each painting has a different feel to it. And your colors are yummy.
And your decision to put more balance in your life is a good thing. Speaking from experience, as life progresses you will appreciate this decision more and more. :-)
