"Grass in Greener"

I know some of you get tired of seeing them, but I LOVE painting apples. They are so colorful and shiny and ... just wonderful subjects. I said recently I'd rediscovered color, and here I am proving it. Color and lots of it! I'm really happy with this one.

it's a great way to study colour, but aren't there any other subjects? Anyone suggestions?

Tire your apples....no way ...this is great with the colorful graphic patterns of the paper under the apples. You should do a series of pears like you are doing here of your apples...they would be gorgeous too.

Carol-does your canvas panel holder work with your new art box easel? I'm getting ready to purchase the panel holder and just wanted to make sure.

I really like this one Carol. Three apples on three different colors works very well in this painting. Great composition.

Your apples are beautiful - as all your paintings. I don't think I would ever get tired of seeing them. Each painting has a different feel to it. And your colors are yummy.
And your decision to put more balance in your life is a good thing. Speaking from experience, as life progresses you will appreciate this decision more and more. :-)
