Reception night for a solo show is like being queen for the night! Thank you to all of you who made it - it was wonderful seeing my good friends, and meeting new ones! For those of you who couldn't attend, please enjoy these photos my husband took, including one showing a close-up of a floating frame.

Carole, It looks like it was a lovely show! I so wanted to come. Still following and loving your work!! Ann
Carol, thank your husband for all of us, for the wonderful pictures of the opening. The paintings look fabulous hanging all together and the floater frame really works. I so wish I could have been there.
And oh, what a wonderful queen you are!!! Your show is magnificent - a truly beautiful body of work - and you should be so proud!!!!!
Looks like it was a fun time. Is that Susan Carlin you're talking to in that last photo?
Congratulations! Your show looks fantastic!
Hi Carole,
It looks as though it truly was a royal opening! I'm enjoying the intensity of the reds in all of your latest work and sending you wishes for the red theme to continue - in the shape of dots all through your show!
Your show looks lovely!! I wish I could have been there to see it in person. Congratulations on your success. Cheers! :-)

Wow, Carol - you are amazing.
Thank you for posting these, very inspiring. I love the photo of the nine paintings all hung together.
The show looks gret! Congratulations. You deserve to be queen for the day!
Oh my gosh, congrats! Your show looks fantastic! How many paintings are in the show? Way to go!
Hearty congratulations to you and your family for pulling this off amidst all the changes in your lives these past months. Your show is illustrated determination, stick-to-it-ness and Bravo-confetti in the form of a good turn out and an awesome grouping of paintings. They look so good in such a clean space, and in scale. I hope you get to take a mini break now before the next hurdles. Congrats again.
Great to see your work and you! I went on to Wally Workman's site to get a better look; yeah, great reds and got my stripe fix, too! 'HOW DO WE GET IN?' is a tour d'force!
When I finally get to your workshop in J'ville, I want to know about finding the 'glow' that determines the under-painting's hue.
Anywho, brava to such an observant, logical artist.

I seldom get the time to comment, but I check your blog often and thought I will take the time today and wish you great success in your show. The show looks amazing and your body of work is so outstanding! Congratulations!
Hey Carol, congratulations! Your paintings look great, I love to see them hanging on the walls, that's a different look from what we're used to see on the blog. Hope you sell them all!
Best regards,
Carolina
Congratulations! Your show looks amazing! I love your paintings. I wish I could buy them all ;).

Hi Carol, Congrats on a fabulous looking show. I see many I would love to own! I love how the paintings were displayed..it gives the viewer a new idea on how to hang (and hopefully collect) your work. One of the most frequent comments I hear is "My walls are full"..well, time to rethink how you hang!
