Back to a red ground again for this one. No surprise probably that I see this as a mom and kid, with the kid running away. Not that my perfect child would do such a thing. ; )
The first two strawberry pictures make me think "fresh picked" on a sunny day. With these I feel...making strawberry jam in the evening. Just stunning. I will have to own a "Carol Marine" someday.
all of these strawberry paintings are delicious! They were referenced in our workshop last weekend, by Colin and the gang. The girlfriends all loved the "Come Here Now" title :) How you can do so much with one subject is a lesson in itself. I have to remember that I CAN paint another painting using the same props :D DUH

I don't know what I like most, if the painting or the title!
That's some nice realism, in fact, it's so spooky that i can almost tell the relative humidity.
Maybe they are playing peek-a-boo.
By the way - these are your best strawberries yet!

Wow. That's beautiful. The glass jar is perfect
I love your titles, no matter who thought them up- there's definitely a mother in there somewhere!
This one's phenomenal, Carol.
Beautiful depth; you're a pro at capturing the essence of strawberries without including too many details, and the title fits perfectly!
perfect!
This is one of my favorites.
Hi,
The lighting, namely the highlights, and the textures are great.
The sensation of space is quite realistic.
Best regards,
José
Hi Carol,
That jar is a masterpiece of simplicity.
