Click Here to BidI arrived in Sedona this afternoon. This is my second visit and I am stunned anew by the beautiful rock all around. I got in a quick hike and was really tempted to set up and paint but I knew I'd be pushing it for light and time.
I did this still life right after the last one I posted. The orange seems a bit naked to me now ... in a silly kind of way. Waiting for the bus maybe - my worst nightmare. : )

Sedona is god's country ... no doubt! It is an absolutely stunning place! I love the title on this one and you really nailed the reflections. Naked or not!
The orange is great. I really get a sense for its translucency.
LOL. You made my night with your naked orange at the bus stop comment. :-)
Gorgeous painting and reflections, and love the green of the cup. fantastic.
I love your paintings, they are each and every one superb, but I have to say that with this one, it seems to me ... you have arrived to another level. Love it!!!!
Nice painting but the first one is awesome.
Last winter we spent 2 months in Sedona, well actually Oak Creek. The red rock formations never get old. A painting around every bend. Enjoy yourself.
Love your oranges, such depth. PLEASE find the time to get a Sedona landscape in, I'd love to see your version of the red rocks, especially after you've taken Jill's workshop.
Love these orange paintings Carol! Your dedication amazes me - I don't know how you do it all!
I'm loving that little green pot, with a a lovely highlight on the rim. This is a wonderful palette of color.
I'm thinking of you in Sedona, teaching your class with the beautiful Red Rock vista in view! Wish I were there.
Great painting, here. Naked orange ;) and that green pot just sings!
Looking forward to a red rock landscape.
This is a lovely painting! So fresh, I love the colors you used...

nice lighting
Carol!
Nice job on both of the bowls (the lime green one and the turquoise one slightly off screen).
The little highlights give the bowl just the thing to make it look 3-dimensional.

The lightness and texture of the orange is lovely. I wouldn't change a thing about it.
