"Cool Heat" - SOLD

I loved the way the peppers looked coming out from under the shadow of the bowl. I did a larger painting today as well - this was my (hot) cool down. : )

The day I left for Carmel, as promised, the slab for my new studio was poured! I haven't had time until now to post the pictures. My gracious husband took them for me since I was packing and catching a plane. Here they are.

I like the limited range of colors with this piece often times going understated has more impact then including every color under the sun.

So, can we see the larger painting you also did today? I am amazed that you were able to finish this little one in addition to another. You are so blessed with talent! Thanks for sharing.

Carol, Love your work, Lucsious, fresh and loose. Just the right amount of brushwork and sometimes just a little different view of the set up.

Chris R. nailed it on the head.

The limited use of color works so nicely here, Carol.

But I am a bit biased since green is my most favorite color!

The composition is really nice too with the bowl poking through from the top of the painting.

Whee! Now I get to look at this everyday. I'll give it its own space on an empty wall above my desk. . Thanks, Carol.
