"The Others" - SOLD

I got an email this morning from an Orangeaholic. Yes, you read that right. I have been blogged about on an all orange, all the time blog. Because I used orange in my paintings. What I am wondering is, if there is an Orange Fan Club, where is the GREEN Fan Club? Being that it is a superior color and all ... not that I'm partial.

Regarding yesterday's post, I did fix the painting, but my photo of it was blurry and I didn't notice in time to take another. So I will do it tomorrow.

Carole, your painting is breathtaking! Your colours in this one, especially in the shadows, again fantastic!

... and where's the polka dot fan club? Very nice painting - you got the 'glowy' slices going on this one! Love the lavender in the shadows.

Beautiful. My favorite stroke is the deep seed on the center orange. Perfect color/value to get that across. Blog about the color orange? At last! a place to get all my orange needs met in one place! ;P

really great glow in this painting. i've always liked your orange paintings, this one really speaks to me. a blog about orange, that's pretty cool, who would have ever thought about blogging about a color.

I learn an incredible amount by studying your work. While it's the rich, bright orange that gets the attention, it's the subtle dull, quiet colors that make it possible. Thanks for the lesson!

I'm a newbie watercolorist, but i gotta tell you what an inspiration you are to me. Someday I'm going to dig into some water miscible oils myself and see what all the fun is about. Keep at it....your paintings really bless.

Everyone likes green. It doesn't need a booster club.
