"Funny Farm" --- SOLD

I don't know the reason for the title - it seemed appropriate for some reason. Maybe because clowns wear polka-dots a lot and ... clowns are funny and ... flowers grow on a farm? : )

You're the only artist I can think of that could pull off these 3 different blues successfully. They look great together! I've enjoyed going through all your archives, and am so looking forward to the San Antonio workshop in Dec. I love that your work is so uplifting, and that you are so generous with your knowledge and experience. Thank you!

to this a very nice picture! Very dimensional and realistic and the dots are just too cute!

Man! what you can do with Gerber Daisy's! This one, now, is my favorite. Still not getting the feed, but we will prevail, I'm sure!

I agree with milindmulick, the blue accents make a big impact.

I think clowns are often depicted with a squirting flower, also. This flower is posed a bit like one of those flowers would appear in a clown's shirt pocket. An unconscious association while painting, maybe? :)
