I don't know the reason for the title - it seemed appropriate for some reason. Maybe because clowns wear polka-dots a lot and ... clowns are funny and ... flowers grow on a farm? : )

You're the only artist I can think of that could pull off these 3 different blues successfully. They look great together! I've enjoyed going through all your archives, and am so looking forward to the San Antonio workshop in Dec. I love that your work is so uplifting, and that you are so generous with your knowledge and experience. Thank you!
I agree with milindmulick, the blue accents make a big impact.
I think clowns are often depicted with a squirting flower, also. This flower is posed a bit like one of those flowers would appear in a clown's shirt pocket. An unconscious association while painting, maybe? :)

those two ultramarine blue patches in the bottle are making a big differnce I think.
