"Projections" & workshop photos --- SOLD

These are some pears I painted right before I left. I was ahead by a few then so I'll post those when my demos sell - as it did today. Below are a few students hard at work. I am lucky - I got another great group!

I'm amazed that you can accomplish such a beautiful painting as you are preparing to leave for a workshop. I so admire your discipline. I'm crazy about the background and shadows. Gotta go for it.jb

We have all seen a million pear paintings, but this one has special appeal. I think it is the way you have them all huddled together in a small area of the canvas, and of course that killer shadow.

I'm a fan of these pears, too. I like the out-liney quality, the colors and shadows. Maybe I just prefer pears to tomatoes!

The pears have "presence", which is what makes your paintings of ordinary stuff, unique.
The student work looks great too.
I think I see my pal KCM in the background. Would love to be there but I have "March" in my future :)
