"No Apple" --- SOLD

I swear I was going to paint eggs today. But my son, Jacob (2), asked for an apple and then refused to eat it. He said "no apple" and pushed away the slice I cut. And I couldn't just throw the rest away ... could I? So I painted it. Twice actually. I'll post the other one tomorrow. Meanwhile I'm working on some more larger paintings for the gallery. Thanks so much to my wonderful husband who gives me time on the weekends to paint.

Carol, I love the shadows on these slices! The colors you used are perfect! BTW, could your husband tell my husband what a good idea that is "to let your wife have a weekend to paint?" Ha, just kidding, we are frantically trying to finish up some outside house remodeling before it gets really cold, but my studio is CALLING me!

Carol,
You are such a fantastic painter. I am not only so inspired by your work, but also so inspired by the fact that you are also a Mom. That you do both more-than-full-time jobs says so much about your character.
