Thank you all so much for your kind comments on yesterday's post. I am much happier with today's painting. I showed my husband and he said "now that's you."
Oh, Carol, I love this. Brings back warm memories of my youth, when my Mom used to sing a song "...me and my shadow..." because (at age 5?) I used to follow her around the house all day, asking her what I should draw... I love the way the red POPS, the light accents on the vase, and the big shadow looming behind. And I love your signature square texture. :-)
