It always takes me a while after a break to hit my stride again, but I think I finally got it here. I believe part of the problem was that I saw a lot of demos at the Plein Air Convention, and each painter had a different process. Possibly my brain got a little discombobulated, because I feel like I forgot my own process ... in the process.
