View of the Bay

Here's another one from the top of Potrero Hill in San Francisco, this one with a little slice of the bay. I actually scanned this one instead of photographing it, because I got a new scanner and wanted to try it out. I think it turned out pretty great, except you can't see any of the texture of the strokes. Which ... I'm not sure whether I like or don't like yet. The downside is I can't scan a painting until it's dry. The upside is I can scan in a pinch, if I've forgotten to take a picture while the sun is up.
But the primary reason I bought the scanner (an Epson Perfection V600) is for my little abstract collages. After much deliberation, I've decided to offer them framed. I got four of my first ones framed for myself, and I think they look so good like this. This first one is called "Monday". The piece is 6x6in. and the outside of the frame is 13x13in. I'm starting the bidding at $100. (I used acrylic instead of glass for safer shipping, but this can be easily replaced if you want). Click Here to Bid

Hi Carol, in reference to your comment about the brushstrokes - the small image on the post doesn't show much detail. But when I click on the image to make it larger I can see lots of brushstrokes. Looks good on my end!
