Lemon in Blue
sold.
I used my little florescent bulb to light this one, which gives it a softer look than some of my still lifes. I still can't get over the fact that the plural of still life is lifes and not lives...
In other news, I am grateful to Plein Air Magazine for the article about me in this month's issue. To be honest I feel like the title is a tiny bit misleading ("Paint Daily but Know When to Stop") but I didn't get to choose it. Not that I'm complaining!
Also, I will be demo-ing at this year's Plein Air Convention in San Diego (end of April). If you're there, find me and say hi!

Congratulations, Carol! It's a beautiful spread. I wish I could also read the article but, unfortunately, I don't subscribe to the magazine.
You deserve much more recognition that you receive. I have introduced your book to others, and they are always so happy when they read it. Keep up the good work. Hope I can eventually make it to one of your workshops!
I hope that you've seen an uptick in book sales this winter because I use it to show examples to my students and they all take a photo of the cover so they can buy it.
It is a GREAT book with relevant info that never gets old.
Gotta get the Plein Air Magazine.
