I really enjoyed capturing all the color bouncing around in this one. I've always like painting shiny things for that very reason.

  9. All the elements in the picture are working together in harmony. Ordered by size gives the impression of a family having a quiet and relaxing drink somewhere. Great job!

  13. Hi Carol, I love your style and subjects and your painting skill. Since I took your workshop and saw that you just sat things on a chair because you were not in your own environment, I was wondering if sometime you could show your set-up in your studio and explain it. For instance, show each of the pieces used in your backgrounds. The two or three fabrics you are using and how they are held in place behind the objects, and how you attach lighting to your set-up. Do you have warm and cool lights at one time, or pick either and where to place them?

  14. One can never have a coffee cup that is too tall. What do they call it at Starbucks? Venti!
