I took my son, Jacob, to an easter event in our small town a few weeks ago. It was overcast for most of the time, but I just couldn't resist snapping a few shots of these 3 girls. They went everywhere together. And those bunny ears ...
Too cute-love the bunny ears but even more that the 2 girls on the right are touching and all the different integers I can see. Love the whole composition and little skin tones are fabulous.
Carol, I really love how you painted this! You can so tell these are little girls (& the little boy). I love paintings of the backs of people anyway. Here, you have done such a beautiful job of showing their rapt attention at something. Just wonderful! I'm a lurker too and can't remember if I have written before. Thank you so much for your fun, inspiring blog.
Their body language tells countless tales, beautifully done Carol. So nice to see you and your family last weekend.
ReplyDeleteThis is super sweet! A real gem of a composition!!!

ReplyDeleteVery nice, caught the sweet, happy nature of these three, before they reach the teenage years...ugh....can you tell I have teenagers now?
ReplyDeleteHi Carol! I am a new regular visitor, love your work.
ReplyDeleteThese three girls are particularly spontaneous and heartwarming. To the point of getting me out of my lurk mode and leaving a comment.
I love this painting. The colors are so fun, and you really got their posture.... and yeah, the bunny ears. :)

ReplyDeleteThese are darling. Love the pink bow and the bunny ears.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to paint the cat challenge?
Love the sentiment evoked in the painting.
ReplyDeleteCarol, You inspire me. What can I say! Oh, I painted a hot dog and bun today.
