There was some confusion about the instructions for yesterday's challenge. It has nothing to do with your palette or paint tube colors. It has everything to do with the colors of your objects, background, etc. The actual colors in your painting should follow a color scheme, not the tubes of paint you use. Hope that clears things up! I've also updated the intstructions on the challenge page.
Just look at that reflected orange on the spoon handle; as you guys over there say, ARRSSUM !
ReplyDeleteThis is nice and loose, Carol. I love the way you made a great composition with the orange slices and bowl.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to trying this week's challenge!

Wonderful composition with ellipses everywhere! Favorite moment- the reflection in the handle and on the bowl. Shadows not too shabby either!:)
ReplyDeleteThe spoon handle is AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteGreat light and so vibrant! You'd think the complements would dull the colors.
ReplyDeletejust damn... great stuff. your reflected light work is inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI returned to this painting just to look at the marvelous color throughout, and the great reflection captured on the underside of the spoon! It is spectacular. Love it.
