COLOUR IS INTOXICATING! I could draw this and shade it with all dexterity and skill but I don't think it would jump at me with such force as this piece does. A remarkable Tour de force by a Consistent, disciplined and powerful painter-I never tire coming here!
I love the frightened look of the mug. Those apples are being bullies. (maybe you should paint a follow-up with the mug triumphant and the apples all sliced up)
Ooh Carol, what mouthwatering colour! I love how you show an exact half of the colour wheel, from yellow round to violet. Truly a picture worth a thousand words not to mention indepth study to work out just HOW you do that thang you do.

Great variety of blues. Love the way the apple reflections take on a greener tone because of the blue. You continue to amaze and inspire!!!
