We quickly moved on to the Gold King Mine just outside of Jerome, Arizona to paint old trucks. This place is literally a gold mine for artists ... artists who like to paint old trucks and stuff ... like me. : ) Don, the proprietor, is a kooky old guy - we enjoyed getting to know him. My painting buddy, James, just started a new blog where you can see his airplanes - and trucks too, soon.
GAWD, these are so much fun! Leave it to you to give old vehicle relics such personality! Love the subtle background objects. My favorite part?...the sky reflected blues on the shiny chrome. Perfect!
