Just wonderful! The cup is so rich with all those reds, and I love the bits of orange in the grapes. I wouldn't have known to squish the right angle on the place mat. It's all great.
Carol - I notice that in almost all your paintings you use a particular brushstroke that starts with a lot of pressure (relitively) and then seems to be suddenly released to a feathered edge. Is this just style or does it have a specific purpose?

Love everything about this...the reds and greens, the slight red reflection in the grapes, the askew white napkin (?). Really gorgeous!
