I got these dark purple - almost black - bell peppers at the grocery store recently for a larger painting. I decided to cut them up and paint the inside, and then couldn't resist the purple/green combination. I actually did another one that's similar while I was at it that I will post tomorrow.
Wonderful. Simple, but recognizeable AND artistic. Is there any chance that you have already (or could) describe the steps you usually go through when painting this way? Choosing a toning color, set up, first layer, etc.?
