I found some wild flowers on a recent hike that looked so lovely in the sunshine. I have no clue what kind they are.

I think that's a thimbleberry. It flowers May - July in western Montana.

If you were in southern California at the time, it would look like a Matilija poppy, also called a"Fried egg plant". Lovely!
