Blodgett Canyon

A few weeks ago hubs and I hiked to Blodgett Overlook, which is up on one of the high cliffs you see here. Recently I went and hiked the entire Blodgett Canyon by myself. It was a pretty cloudy day, but the sun did come out in patches. This made for some interesting part shadow, part light scenes. Here, parts of the cliffs are in the sun, but the river and trees below are all in cloud shadow. I will probably get better at this sort of thing now that I'm in Montana, because clouds seem to be a pretty permanent feature. Not that I'm complaining! I am totally in love with the clouds, and thoroughly enjoy watching them cross the BIG SKY every single day.
