sold. (6x6in.)
Our big trip (to parts south and east) was postponed just a tad. Our son got sick and is finally better today. The new plan is to leave tomorrow morning (Tuesday).
Meanwhile, here's a glow-y rose. I've said this before, but I really have the best luck putting in those glow-y colors (if they're there) first (the reds and oranges in this case) and then putting everything else on top of and around them.

It looks like it is on fire! How did you get the brilliant red?
Beautiful Carol.
Hi
I am writing a blog post about paintbrushes and would like your short input if quality (and material) of the paintbrush is of very big importance to you or not ? Since your paintings are not very detailed it might not be so important for you ?
Thanks you guys!
Gloria, (hi!) the red is just Cad Red with some yellow mixed in. It looks brilliant because of the colors around it.
Dennis, I think the quality of brushes is VERY important! My preferred brushes these days are Silver Bristlon and Rosemary Ivory. They don't last forever, alas, so I buy new ones on a regular basis.
Lovely shades ....
I love how you capture sunlight through petals. Just so beautiful.
