Baked Boneyard

Click Here to Buy (12x24in. - $900 - click to see a larger version  - includes a free book, my 6th collection of 100 small paintings, from the year 2014!)

Detail from Baked Boneyard
It started raining here in earnest today. And the sky was so dark all day that I didn't have a chance to get a very good picture of this painting. UPDATE: I took a better one and re-posted. I took the reference photo last summer when I was driving home from a workshop I took in California. I don't remember exactly where I was, but I'd love to go back! I only stopped a couple of times along this road because I was in a hurry to get home, but I could have take a gazillion photos - old trucks/cars, barns, houses, fields, mountains. I'll find my way back, someday.

Fab-u-lous painting, Carol! I just started reading your book and so far it is really fun and straight forward. I really love all the photos of paintings by other artists (many names are familiar) ... and very glad you put many of your paintings both old and new in it.
I goofed and pre-ordered 2 copies, but I actually am happy as it will be a wonderful gift for one of my artist friends one day...or I just may keep both copies!
Happy Holidays to you and your family!

I love old cars too, having a Morgan in the basement. See my blog at artist-ron-Wilson.blogspot.com and you'll see the influence of your way of seeing. I have an original Marine(red pepper & white garlic) and have just bought your new book which is inspiring and instructive. Kudos to you two.
