This one is a bit of an irregular size because I cut a 16x16in. panel in half to make it. The other panel was exactly 8x16in., but this one, because of the width of the table saw blade, is 1/8th of an inch less than 8 inches tall. Let me know if you have any framing questions!
Tomorrow morning I fly to San Antonio for my next/last workshop of the year, and for next year too (did I mention I'm taking 2015 off from teaching?). After the workshop I'll be in Texas for an extra few days visiting my dearly missed friends and family! I'm ahead by a few paintings, but when/if I post will depend on how much fun I'm having. ; )
BTW, I still have a (smaller) pile of autographed books to give away to buyers. I apologize in advance that I won't be able to ship anything until I get back from Texas (Nov. 21).

much thanks for all you share, i adore your work
Hello Carol.
I would like to thank you about your book. I preordered your book through Amazon and received it 3 day ago.
In the past 2 days, I spent my free time reading your book and I enjoyed every single page. Your book is the BEST investment that I ever made!! It is full of great tips and inspiration. I can see myself reading your book again and again. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge about painting.

The book is as stunning as this painting and so informative!
challenging dimensions! Love it!
I love the humour! They look like a bunch of teanagers whose party has just been busted by mum & dad. Of course the parents have to be lenient as the young cups are such beautiful colours.
Love the composition. I also want to thank you for writing your book! I'm in the process of studying it. You're a great teacher, Carol!
Holy smokes, Carol! I don't comment here often (ever?) but I stop by frequently to admire your work. I purchased your book on Amazon, pre-ordered about three months ago. I haven't had time or space to paint ...for about a year now :(, but I have just sat and read your book front to back and I am inspired, even if I have to paint in a closet...I cannot wait to pick up my brush again. Thanks for such an awesome book!
I love this painting: the colours, the unusual shape and the expectation created by these numerous mugs (what party? why? who's coming?). It's always a pleasure to come to your blog.
