Preparing Tea

sold

My (somewhat) recent tea series gave me great practice for this larger piece (12x12in). My favorite part was figuring out all the different values for the tea itself and the lemons. Quite fun.

My friend, all I can do is ...sigh....at the wonder of this. And wish I were there sipping tea with you.

Wonderful and so interesting, you do such a great job with set ups. That lid in the foreground might be my favorite part.

Gorgeous, Carol! I love the subtleties between all the different shades and hues, even the different 'whites' on the table. Beautiful composition.

I will be hanging this on one of my Key West walls. I told Carol this was the first thing I saw on the web the other day, and it made me feel good looking at it.

My fav.' part is the group of slices in the reflecting light upper left. Can't wait!

The way you fill the space in this piece is so successful, I love your sense of organization and always admire how much you can fit into a small painting. Even though this is 12x12in, it still feels bigger! The 6in ones you do also feel this way to me.
