Afternoon Apples

sold

Sometimes I feel like painting smooth, and sometimes I feel like gettin' the chunk on! Now that I actually wrote that, it seems really weird. But I'm going to stick with it. I mean chunk, like chunky strokes. You guys feel me, right?

ehehehe… I'm french; when I'm not sure to understand I try with the site Reverso; I can't tell you what it was written in French, but it wasn't really meaning something. It make me remember the words of the french painter in the Muppet Show eheheheh (not yours words but the translation). You are helping me in improving my professional english… ;-)
I will try with other text about art so I will have nice text to put in my site or bio that will sound as, you know, real artist… Try it with french test translated...

That said, you're work is still and always for me an example. Simple, efficient, full of energy.
I like your posts ; they are helpful and joyful, (and clear: what I said before was about the automatic translation) a very nice thing to read to begin the day.
Bravo and thank you.

Carol!! I am subscribed to your emails and as a fellow Oregonian (Medford) and artist, they are very inspiring!! :) Thank you so much!! (I actually found your blog on Pinterest!) This mornin' I was sharing your work with another good artist and friend and we were admiring this one! The shadows of the apples are marvelous!! I appreciate the honesty of your work and that you paint out of your heart, not out of trying to be something you're not. Keep using the gift God has given you! Blessings!!
