Here is my entry for this week's Daily Paintworks Challenge. It's been a while since I did one, but the photo is one of mine from San Francisco, and I wanted to paint it anyway. It was real challenge making the flowers look like some were in the sun and some in shadow, but I'm really happy with the result.

The flowers and people in the background are a good balance.
Recently, I've been liking street scenes with people more than my favorite landscapes. Changing times.
The separation of light and shadow is obvious...well done!
How did I miss this wonderful flower scene? I love how loose it is.
