This feels like SF! Love the cool, hazy light.
Carol, I LOVE this one!! I have to admit I usually just delete your emails, as I have so many emails to wade through every day, but I'm glad I opened this one. And having scrolled through your recent posts I do also like "Black Jaguar" and "What's Left" for the absolutely superb compositions and color harmonies.
But I REALLY like today's post for the composition and the sense of light! Your 'people' paintings are really incredible. Like Karin Jurick's but more dream-like, especially when they have direct sunlight like this one.
Great job!
'Like the mood and shadows!
Vous avez su capturer en isolant du contexte bruyant de la ville cet espace tranquille tout illuminé de lumière.
Joli travail.
Gros bisous
Beautiful painting. Love the composition, subtle color harmony and brushwork.
You capture light so beautifully, Carol. I can FEEL the warmth...gotta go turn on my fan!
Sending sunny thoughts from snowy Maine,

Such great light and good composition! I would love to see you demo an outdoor scene from a photo.
very nice painting
This is my favorite of the San Francisco paintings.
The composition is just perfect! Love the light on the street and that slash on the back of the bench. I also love the grayed and muted colors in this one. REALLY beautiful, Carol!
Love the neutrals in this one. And the composition. And the people cut off at the top. And...everything!
