The Rose Knows

I can't wait until the big rose garden in Eugene starts blooming again so I can go and take more pictures!  Meanwhile I still have a few more from last year. I took this painting (still slightly wet) to a little show and tell with some artist friends in Salem today, and got to see some of their work too. For me spending a morning chatting about art with artists is about as good as it gets.

This is a gorgeous painting. Roses can be tricky things to paint, you make it look so easy.
