This is my first size-able painting in about 6 months! I used to do them on a regular basis - about once a week - but haven't lately. I have to admit with all the teaching I feel like I get home, paint a little, and then I'm off again, so I haven't had the energy for larger work. BUT now that I'm into it I am finding it hard to stop! This will be the first time I've posted anything as large as this for sale here. We'll see how it goes.

so nice! my eye is immediately drawn to the lightest part of the table, then to the tea cup. love the shadows and everything about this!
Hi, I love your paintings. I'm trying to follow your steps here from Brazil. I'm starting a daily painting project for this month and maybe for the next year. I hope you
could give me some tips to improve. I'm painting postcard size still lifes from life and using acrylics on watercolor paper. Take a look at: http://www.cristinajaco.art.br
Thanks,
Cris
Historians are going to look back on this time and think.. "Why were the great artists of this period all painting little 5 inch paintings. What did it mean"?
