Yearning Chicken Love
sold
I went around and around with the composition for this. I started out with lots and lots of cracked eggs and just the yellow chicken, but somehow couldn't get around the morbidity of that combination. Then I noticed the yellow chicken making googly eyes at the blue rooster, so in the end I let their love shine!
After almost a month apart, my husband and I escaped for the weekend, which is why I haven't posted. We'll be home later today.

You went round and round and landed on perfection!
Hope you had a wonderful reunion with your hubby!
That's a brilliant yellow chicken, sure can't blame her for eying the athletic and handsome guy. He's probably a rock star in blue rooster world. :)
This makes me smile Carol! Such a fun painting and painted so beautifully!Love the colors and reflections. So glad you and David got to escape together for the weekend. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder! Enjoy!

Nicely done! Great colors and reflections! Love that you hiked the little chicken up on a cup to get closer to the rooster. I'm so glad you took part in the Traveling Chicken adventure... fun!
