Shadow Peppers

sold

They have some fabulous farmers markets here in Eugene, and I have been neglecting them for far too long, apparently. Jacob and I went to one recently for lack of something better to do, and I found a million and one things to paint. I narrowed it down to peppers and tomatoes. Here are some peppers.

What a stunning painting....I can almost taste the "hot and spice" peppers, and dare I imagine a cold beer in the glass!

Cheers, Jenny

And...how wonderfully easy it was to leave a comment!
Thank you!

PS...this one doesn't need to be displayed - I just wanted you to know it's a treat not having to jump through the Word Verification hoop. (my eyes aren't that good anymore) :)

I am in awe of the values in these peppers! When I look at this painting enlarged and close up, I can see all the different hues and value shifts. Amazing.

This is fabulous. Love the shadows and that curly pepper adds such an interesting element to this. Love it!
