I am finally home and getting caught up on all the home things again, minus any actual painting! Above is the last painting I did before I left, and below are some photos from my workshop in Toronto.
<-- Class was held in an old church, which turned out to be a fabulous space for us! You can't tell from the pictures how NICE all these people were! Well, most of them anyway (you know who you are!). I gotta tell you, after this trip, I am seriously considering immigrating to Canada someday!! People seem so incredibly ... content in Canada.
<-- And here is some of their work, from various exercises, but mostly the 10-minute paintings.
And here we all are, in front of our old church. It was a great group and a great week. I love my kids!

Hot Hot Hot painting! Fantastic design and color scheme. Each pepper has it's own personality!
Canada would welcome you with open arms!
Looks like you, and your students, are a happy bunch...smiles all around; the sign of a job well done.
I was looking at your list of classes...awesome to see they are all full!
And, I was very happy to read how much you enjoyed us Canadian...we would be happy to have you as one of our own.
Cheers, Jenny
Very nice, thanks for sharing.
What a great looking group of "kids"! Carol, your workshop was fantastic!! And I think I speak for everyone in class when I say... move to Canada, please!! :)
A wonderful painting Carol. Interesting composition and the peppers are so well done. Glad you made it home safe and sound, what a cool place to have a workshop.
That metal bowl is awesome! What more can I say?
Is there a "No Boys Allowed" policy at your workshops? ;)
Thanks for the support you guys! Jacob is going back to school tomorrow so I will soon have more time to paint!
Sergio, no, I have no such policy! Guys are welcome to attend, and I do get a few occasionally. People ask me all the time why I don't get more guys. I have to say, I have no idea! Ask the guys. : )
