Late Bloomer

I found this one morning on a walk near my son's school. It was just starting to open while every other flower had already fully bloomed.

We are taking full advantage of this summer, the wonderful weather and Jacob not being in school. Tomorrow we are going to Portland for several days for some urban adventuring. This time I will have my computer and will post the few paintings I am ahead by.

Love this one Carol. I also love the demo from your Jacksonville workshop that hangs in my studio You inspire me every day! Headed to Portland too. I like your terminology "urban adventure'. Keep enjoying the summer.

Love closed flowers because you just know the best is yet to come. Full of fun and potential! Beautiful work on those petals= your florals are so sensitively painted:)
Have fun on your urban adventure! Enjoy every minute with Jacob! Wishing you a fabulous alleyway to paint:)
