Chair in the Sun

This is a little bit of an unusual composition, but I like it. It seemed awfully quaint with the little folding chair and the orange flowers off to the side.

Carol, I am so glad to see that you are painting things that "grab" your heart and interest. It's healthy and fun for you. And they are great little paintings.

I like how you crop to show just a bit of a building. It makes the painting feel so intimate, and makes the flowers more important. Bravo!

I like the brushwork behind the forms, sometimes in front too - great texture. Subtle.

What a lovely painting! You have caught the summer llight and shade as it moves over this house and yard just right.
