Blue Dots

I've got my husband back! Unfortunately I've got only one day with him before I leave for Toronto for my next workshop. Alas.

Love the green apple and how you handled the dots though the glass.

Dots and Polka Dots

Said one apple to another,
"Look at that one
sitting all alone over there."
"Yes, merely a big green dot,
though look at those three sparkles.
We merely have two sparkles."
"Yes, we do; only two, sigh."

Said one blue dot to another,
"Whoa, look at all of us,
so many, let's dance."
"Right, because you need
more than one dot to polka;
if there's only one dot
it's merely a dot, no dancing."
"You're such a square."
"Yeh, right."
"No, look at you.
You're a square polka dot."
"Wow, I am. That's so cool.
I can't brush that aside.
Just call me Dot,
the dancing blue cool square
."
"Yeh right, let's polka, Dot."

Hi Carol, Yes, it's me, your Maine writer and dabbler. Were you aware that you once upon a time stayed at Art Maine's house where two Marine red peppers live with apple values?"

love the way the glass effect is done apparently with minimum visible strokes.

I think it is really neat how the bowl is defined and created in paint by the reflections of the apples, Wonderbar!
