Ford on Filmore St.

Tomorrow at 11am PST I'll be a guest host on the Artists Helping Artists radio show. The title of the show is "A Conversation with Carol Marine and Leslie Saeta" (that first one's me). We'll be answering questions sent in by listeners - we've got some good ones! If you can't make it at 11, you'll be able to listen to the recording anytime. Either way, live or not, listen here.

Je suis toujours fascinée lorsque j'admire des oeuvres consacrées aux voitures... Cette peinture est sublimement éclairée... Joli travail.
Gros bisous

I really love the charm in your art work...it has a comfortable feeling like visiting grandma's old house. Your old Ford is so awesome and makes me want to hop in back and take a slow lazy ride on a country road.

Every painting is magical, Carol! You have such a gift of turning the ordinary into extraordinary! Looking forward to today's AHA show...

I am listening to the show as I write and found the chat about copiers most interesting. I would love to take one of your classes but I live here in the UK so guess I will have to buy some of your art bytes for now. I am trying to branch out more and more and my style is coming through slowly but surely , well slowly maybe not surely. thanks for the show I am enjoying it immensely.

I painted whilst listening to your conversation with Leslie. It was great and thank you for sharing all your tips. I am about to start my Facebook fan page before I start selling to avoid the mix of family , friends etc and fans......not sure that fans would appreciate the real me! Anyway, thank you for Artbytes. I live in New Zealand and cannot attend workshops and they have beena revelation to me. You are very generous to share what you know. Lol about the " paint gasm" !!!

This is my favourite of your paintings to date,Carol! That sun faded paint job comes alive next to the greys, and the stroke of white on the bumper and wiper, just grab you! Well done!

Love your vehicles, Carol. It looks like Oregon is treating you well. We miss you in Austin.
