Queen of the Asparagii

Many of you have tried to guess the big surprise tomorrow. It's been very interesting to read the guesses. : ) But I am not giving anything away. You'll just have to wait. Sorry about that. Meanwhile I've been trying my hand at asparagus after a long break. What do you call more than one of these green things? Asparaguses just sounds plain wrong.

This is so darn cool, I'm speechless! Maestro has orchestrated every stroke/color/temp/value perfectly!!!! And THE contrarian asparagus spear is so cute....

I love this red/green complement. You made me wonder about the plural of asparagus. Maybe it is like deer and deer. The plural is the same as the singular?

I think it's asparagus, like moose or fish. Love how they turned out - as well as the tomato.

Stunning. Really stunning. You've captured the exact weight of the asparagus Carol, it lies down perfectly. And I love how you simplified it!

You're brilliant. :-)
