Sweet Enough?

I had this same sugar bowl before the fire. I have found it again, many times over. I love it. David finished one set of studio shelves yesterday and amazingly I've already collected enough to fill the entire thing! I'll post a picture soon.

I do admire the way you paint glass - and the strawberries look so sweet

Love this painting and so glad you have some accessories again. I know how much you loved to paint them. I had strawberries for breakfast yesterday morning, but they were not quite as pretty as yours.

Love the bright strawberries and white with the interesting gray background!

I really love your work. It both looks so simple and impressive. I've never recognized that everyday objects and subjects could be so excited. :)

That red is gorgeous and really pops amoungst the grays. It reminds me of spring! Bring it on, please!

This painting makes me think of my grandmother. Maw Maw was a great cook, and we all looked forward to the first jars of her strawberry preserves each summer. As a young bride and most inexperienced cook, I asked for the preserves recipe. I still have the envelope she wrote it on. The ingredient list had only two items: strawberries and "enough" sugar. Lovely painting that brought back great memories.
