Front Room

I stayed at a bed and breakfast recently in Massachusetts with a friend. It was a really cool old house, beautifully decorated, with great light! And to top it off the breakfast's were amazing! It was called the Baird Tavern, and this was the front room.

Whatever the subject, you always manage to produce a beautiful painting. Love the streak of light on the floor.

How did you happen to find this place, it looks to be away from the beat'n path? I was in that area last weekend as well.

you are getting so good!
the light and feeling in this painting is wonderful. It makes me want to be there to curl up in that chair and read a book.

Love how your loose stroke capture the lighting, clock, hallway, and comfy chair. Just fantastic.

I've always loved paintings of interiors and like to do them myself. Great to see your always fresh brushwork put to this different subject.
