Waiting on the Steps

I found these 2 sitting in front of a big church in the center of Freiburg, here in Germany. I loved the poses and the tennis shoes.
Yesterday we visited a nearby farm, friends of my husband's mother. They have milk cows, barn cats, and a few turkeys. I never knew cats were so hard to photograph! So I settled for the turkeys instead. Man are they funny lookin' creatures! I painted one today and will post it soon.

Very nice, Carol! I love the warm skin tones against all the blues and grays. And of course, those pink tennis shoes!

Ditto as the others, great painting! And I keep staring at the lady: she looks so much like my neighbor! I'll ask her if she was in Germany. lol

I thought at first this was you and your son. You do such a nice job on every subject and your style always shines through. Have fun in Germany.

Like Anne, this is one of my favorite of yours. I really like your color palette, and the grays are just gorgeous. Beautiful!
