Together in Freiburg

Here is a scene from Freiburg. It hasn't been sunny much since we got here. If it isn't raining it is overcast. If someone had told me there would be so few sunny days I would have taken more advantage of the few we have had! But I've taken 3 million photos so far regardless. Hopefully I'll be able to paint from a few more of them.

Well you've done beautifully with this overcast scene. I really love the image of the couple. :) I have a hard time getting inspired with overcast light, makes me feel like a bit of a diva. . . "NEED sunlight, NOW!!!!"

Yes, this is just one of those summers we are having...usually if April and May are summer-like, like they were this year then nine times out of ten we have summers like we are having right now. Too bad it has to be the month that you are here. I know the day you leave to go back to boiling Texas it will clear up:) Have a fun rest of your stay though,,,cloudiness and all.

Wow this is nice. I like your handling of masses and color here - its looks like a tough one.

Looks like you've turned a page on these German pieces. Something is different, even if I cant put my finger on it. I love the clean lines and the colors.

You've really captured the feeling of walking through a German village. I think their colorful building colors may be the result of many dreary days. I will say I have never seen so many rainbows as I did while living in Germany. The only time I've ever witnessed a quadruple rainbow.
