Delightful color! & the intensity of the apple is very, well, I like it, what can I say?
...we all be chillin'..."Red and green, and apples.... does it get better than that? LOVE the shiny-ness! I can see your studio in it!
Well, that is because your apple is covered with a thick high-gloss candied lacquer that nobody would dare and try and bite into. It is an impervious coat.
It looks better than real life. I can feel the weight. What is the red pigment under the highlight?
my apple so well rendered it could jump off the page...
A perfect gorgeous apple. "Can beat up yo mama" LOL
Another great work - Mike

Wonderful painting! Love your apples. By the way, saw 2 of your paintings that you did with small blue birds- amazing! I did not know you had borrowed those! The paintings got admired at a Nancy Franke workshop- fun to have everyone discover you if they did not know yet. Nancy raved about your work:) Paintings were beautiful!! You also have new fans from Georgia. Yay!!
