Dappled Apple Snack - SOLD

Here is another one from my playground excursion at Central Market. This girl was so cute munching her apple among the legs of mingling mommies. The playground is surrounded by huge oak trees - beautiful! - which makes for lots of dappling. Which I love ... except that of the hundreds of photos I took, only a few turned out well enough to paint from, as the dapples were often in the wrong places.

This is great Carol! I love how you kept the background unsaturated and pumped the color into the subject. Very nice!

Carol this is spectacular....I love the way you kept the surrounding area in warm and cool brownish neutrals and grays, and the design of the legs and rail is very abstract....it is really a nice piece

Little girl in the "dappled" spotlight, very very nice.

Beautiful! Not only do the neutrals surrounding the little girl help the warms in the little girl and her dress stand out, but the reflected light in her arms, hands face and legs, and face adds to the warm colors and holds the viewer's attention on her. Lovely!

I am loving the hat and the face. Wonderful job on the hands holding the apple. The bits of light throughout are awesome! Really like the legs in neutral and the vertical as they bring your eye back up and onto dapple girl:)
